Why should one study Rigveda? It is full of incantations. What knowledge does it give to a man who reads it?

Yogi Mir:

Rig Veda is an ancient text full of prayer. It contains a complete list of Vedic deities.

It would only be appropriate to study Rig Veda if there is a natural inclination of your mind and soul to study it.

Memorizing the hymns contained in this text will discipline the mind into a meditative state with a devotional quality that habituates the ego to recognize and acknowledge its finite nature and the infinite nature of our True Self.

I recommend studying the Rig Veda only if you are naturally drawn to it.

If there is no natural inclination, it can bore the mind and create a distaste for the Vedic philosophy in which case I would not recommend it.
