Yogi Con Artist

Please help me to decide if I'm being conned or if this is the real thing.
Today a man claiming to be a yogi stopped me and told me that I was blessed and I have a lot of problems and he can help me.
We sat down and he gave me a folded piece of paper and told me to hold it. He asked me to name three flowers and ask how many siblings I have and wrote it down. He then told me to circle two out of the three flowers. I did what he said, and he then said to open the paper. It showed the flower I hadn't circled and the number of siblings I have.
His friend then came and spoke to me for ages telling me about my past, future, and present. Most of what they said was true but could they pick up on the fact that I am unhappy and not doing well at the moment.
They both said I had a bad magic on me and that one woman was putting badness on me and he could help me. I did ask if they were lying to me, and he said it was all God's will that we meet and they will help me.
They then gave me their phone number and ask me to call them later after they pray for me.
I called and they said call back. I called again and he spoke to me again about all the same things - I should pray, exercise, and meditate.
He then said to call back, so again, I called back and he told me to me I come from blessed heritage and my ancestors were blessed and I have visions.
I should put a glass of water on the right side behind my bed and in the morning I'm to call him and tell him what I dreamed about.
I'm sorry to bother you but I'm so confused. I really want to believe, but should I believe? Am I being conned? Does he want money or does he really want to help me?

Yogi Mir's response:
What does your heart tell you? Your Inner Heart is your real spiritual teacher.
Yoga has no voodoo in it. Yoga is a concrete science aimed at achieving total happiness despite any life's obstacles.
You don't need any glasses of water by your bedside other than to drink it to hydrate your body.
However, "Pray, exercise, and meditate" is good advice.
I would say "Do something selfless, help someone in need, exercise, and meditate." After some practice, you'll find all the answers you need within your Self. The answers will form in your mind when the mind's clear.
Who knows what these people wanted from you? Why wonder? Instead, spend your time working to help others, practicing to steady your mind, and training your physical body. Don't waste your precious time.
Love and Light,
Yogi Mir

Yogi in London
I also met a Yogi in London recently who was extremely accurate about my personal life. He told me my date of birth amongst other facts he would not have known as I was just walking by him in the street.
He asked me to pay him £310, £10 for each day that he would pray for me and a curse would be removed.
